Let Canary Islands Marine take the strain

What a proud moment, landing a huge fish like this whopping 3 metre, 600 kilo Marlin, caught a few days ago just off Puerto Colon, Tenerife. It took 4 men and a crane lift, some 40 minutes to tame this monster, but with all that strain, it could have ended in damage to the boat. The key is to ensure that your boat or yacht is regularly maintained by experts.
Canary Islands Marine, based in Puerto Colon, have years of experience, and know what to look for on your vessel, to give you advance warning of any potential problems. If the worse happens, then we are well equipped to carry out quick and lasting repairs, so you aren’t left like a fish out of water.
For the large fish in the picture, getting caught was not the only bad luck it suffered, one of the fishermen aboard was Rafael Carrasco, a chef at Kabuki Restaurant on the Abama Golf and Spa Resort, a short trip down the coast. At least the diners at the restaurant will be able to enjoy the Marlin for many days to come, and the chef will have a tale to tell of the one that didn’t get away.
